Sooner or later, you'll experience a crisis in your life,
and how you meet it will determine your future happiness and success.
Since the beginning of time,
everyone has been called upon to meet such a crisis.

A closer look will show you that most "crisis situations"
are opportunities to either advance or stay where you are.
In fact, most changes in your life will take place
out of either "inspiration" or "desperation."

Whatever comes your way,
give it meaning and transform it into something of value.
Your personal growth is the process of responding positively to change.

A precious stone cannot be polished without friction,
nor humanity perfected without trials.

I Carry Your Heart With Me

heart within heart
I carry your heart with me
I carry it in my heart
I am never without it
anywhere I go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling

I fear no fate
for you are my fate,my sweet
I want no world
for beautiful you are my world,my true
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart
I carry it in my heart

Someone said to me....

...You can not choose love or who to love, Love chooses You...

The Treasure Map

A treasure map is a visual representation of those things you most want at this time in your life -- people, opportunities, money, material objects, or experiences that are fun or that challenge you to grow. The images can even represent a particular value that's important to you like beauty or health, and can also reflect a quality you intend to develop like courage or patience. I've been creating treasure maps for more than fifteen years and as I look back, I'm amazed at how many of the images that I chose to put on my maps have actually shown up in my life.

Creating a treasure map may sound like a fun "artsy" sort of project, but it's much, much more than that. Taking the time to create this map will challenge you to think seriously about what you want at this time in your life. It will give your soul an opportunity to speak to you through images, without your head getting in the way. It will keep you firmly connected to what matters most throughout the year. And, most of all, it will become a vivid demonstration of magnetic energy -- the ability to actually draw toward you your dreams, goals, and desires using the power of your imagination.

If the above sounds a bit far-fetched, humor me and do it anyway. You'll be amazed at the results.

Here's what to do:

1. Discover your desires. Start by looking through books, magazines, or catalogs for those pictures, phrases, titles, headlines, or single words that tug at your heart. Although many of us have a conscious idea of what we'd like to have in our lives, there are usually hidden desires -- soulful desires -- that live just below the surface of our conscious thought. The soul speaks to us in images and that's why we start with this exercise. Your soul images often reflect those things that you really, really, really want deep down inside -- the dreams that you can't believe will come true, the goals that feel out of reach, or the hidden longings that you feel too embarrassed to admit. Let yourself dream big, loud, and wide, and whether the images you feel drawn to make sense or not, cut them out anyway.

2. Create your treasure map. Once you've gathered your words and pictures, it's time to design your map. To do this, use some kind of canvas -- a piece of poster board, a notebook, or even a wall in your home. Go through your clippings, cut them into desired shapes and sizes, and position them on your canvas. Take your time
and play around with the layout. Once you have an idea of how you want it to look, you're ready to paste the images on your canvas. Make this map your own personal work of art. When you're done, you want your treasure map to invoke a feeling of "I love this!"

3. Review and display. Once you've completed your map, it can be fun to consider the following questions: Do I notice any themes? Have I chosen items that surprise me? Is the placement of my images significant? Then, when you're ready, put your map someplace where you'll see it every day.

Creating a treasure map that feels good takes time. If you're busy, don't try to complete it in one sitting. Allow yourself several weeks if need be to create the kind of map that feels right to you. Mine often takes a good month to complete. Once you're done, be sure to look at it every day. By seeing it on a regular basis, you'll find that your mind naturally begins to orient itself around your desires. For example, you'll probably start to see signs of your goals and dreams everywhere. And, that's when the magic begins!

As one of my favorite authors, Robert Collier, says: "The quality of your thought is the measure of your power." Your treasure map will keep your most important priorities embedded firmly in mind. Soon, your desires will take root and come to life before your very eyes... just watch what happens!

~*~ Take Action Challenge ~*~

Get started on your map this week. Here's a breakdown of action steps so you can take it one small step at a time.

1. Gather together at least 6 or 8 favorite books, magazines, or catalogs.
2. Cut out words and images that speak to you.
3. Choose a canvas (poster board, notebook, a wall in your home or office, etc.).
4. Schedule time to create your map.
5. Put the images on the canvas and move them around until it looks right.
6. Glue/tape the images and words to the canvas.
7. Find a perfect spot to display your artwork.
8. Be sure to look at it everyday with enthusiasm and excitement for what's to come.

"When guilt rears its ugly head confront it, discuss it and let it go. The past is over. It is time to ask what can we do right, not what did we do wrong. Forgive yourself and move on."

"I have made it a rule of my life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an appalling waste of energy . . . you can’t build on it; it’s only good for wallowing in."

-- Katherine Mansfield

"If we don't forgive ourselves for our mistakes, and others for the wounds they have inflicted upon us, we end up crippled with guilt. And the soul cannot grow under a blanket of guilt, because guilt is isolating, while growth is a gradual process of reconnection to ourselves, to other people, and to a larger whole."

How to Give and Receive Love More Effectively

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong doing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never dies." ~ The Bible, Corinthians 13
Looking back at the many troubled times in our lives, there is one precious thing that has always opened the doorway to higher understanding. This is openingly and unconditionaly giving and receiving the energy of love. Love is one of those intangible states that we tend to categorize, label as a certain thing, and put into a box. Yet, love cannot be contained or even defined by words. Sure we can come close to it and create great poetry that points towards love, yet it always falls short of the perpetual expansive experience of love.
With love all things are possible. The energy of love is the only thing you need to solve every problem you have. The moment you start trusting the expansive magic of love is the pivotal day when everything will completely change for you. If you think you are too poor, busy, lost or frustrated to trust love, you are simply making up excuses to hide another day in your imagined smallness. Let love guide you. Don't have any ideas about what it is or what it is not. Just feel what love is like in your body and heart, and you will always find your way.
Below are 4 simple steps to give and receive love more effectively:
1. Make the committment to remaining open.
The first step in giving and receiving love effectively is to make the committment to being open to love. Love is the most powerful energy in this Universe, so to master it is to master your experience of the Universe. Let your heart simply be open, as if it were as vast as the infinite Universe that surrounds us. When you are met with difficult people and situations, relax your body and open your heart completely. Eventually, with enough relaxation, a soft gentle feeling of lightness and love will come pouring in. Remember one thing, that you cannot get hurt in any relationship or situation if your heart truly remains permanently open.
2. Drown your ego in loving thoughts.
The more you love and accept yourself exactly as you are, the more you attract love from others and manifest loving, empowering, and abundant situtations to you. The vibration of love is hugely magnetic. When you let your ego drown in self-loving affirmations, beliefs, ideas and fantasies, this energy will soon permeate every cell in your body. Eventually these loving ideas will make you into a "love-magnet" allowing you to realize that you are simply the Source of love itself.
3. Let go of any limited ideas about love.
The belief that you can only love and be loved by one person is one of the greatest limiting thoughts society has "hypnotized" us to believe about love. Trash this thought immediately and understand one simply thing: That the more you practice sharing love with others, the more love you will have to give to yourself and that one special person. Love has this amazing "snowball effect" where it becomes bigger, the more that it's used. Let go of that ridiculous fear of hurting someone because you started loving everyone. Whomever gets hurt simply has a closed heart and has not yet connected to the infinite supply of love inside them. When you become an example for how to be a living source of love, they see how alive, vibrant, and full of joy you are. Then, one day they too will choose to follow you along the path of unlimited love.
4. Consciously Choose Love No Matter What.
Yes, the ego is often tempted to play its old games of blaming and judging others for not giving it what it thinks it wants. Blessedly, you can always choose love even when your ego wants to go off into limiting thinking and contracted feeling states. Every time you notice yourself entering that contracted zone, just focus on opening up your heart and sending out the vibration of love. Think about one thing that you love like your dog, the mountains, the sun, your child, etc... Feel how much you truly love this person or thing. This will get your love engines started again, and soon the energy of love will naturally overwhelm any contracted old ways of being. Practice choosing to respond to all situations with love, and soon you will be bathing in the magic of this energy all day long.

Believe in magic!

"... for magic to happen in your life, you must believe in magic."

-- Grandmother, quoted by Lynn Andrews

"Most of the time, we fall in love but can’t remain there. The world then calls the state we were in a delusion or infatuation ... But we merely lacked, or someone else lacked, the emotional skills to hold on to the magic when the morning came. ... In truth, we can go to the moon and retain its magic for a lifetime."

-- Marianne Williamson

"We think, sometimes, there’s not a dragon left. Not one brave knight, not a single princess gliding through secret forests ... What a pleasure to be wrong. Princesses, knights, enchantments and dragons, mystery and adventure ... not only are they here-and-now, they’re all that ever lived on earth! Masters of reality still meet us in dreams to tell us that we’ve never lost the shield we need against dragons, that blue-fire voltage arcs through us now to change our world as we wish. Intuition whispers true: We’re not dust, we’re magic!"

"Angels Brought Me Here"

blooming rose

It's been a long and winding journey, but i'm finally here tonight
Picking up the pieces, and walking back into the light
Into the sunset of your glory, where my heart and future lies
There's nothing like that feeling, when i look into your eyes...

My dreams came true, when i found you
I found you, my miracle...

If you could see, what i see, that you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

Standing here before you, feels like i've been born again
Every breath is your love, every heartbeat speaks your name...

My dreams came true, right here in front of you
My miracle...

If you could see, what i see, you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

Brought me here to be with you,
I'll be forever grateful (oh forever Faithful)
My dreams came true
When I found you
My miracle...

If you could see, what i see, you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...
Yes they brought me here...
If you could feel, the tenderness i feel...
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

Don’t wait for others to love you. Love them! Love everyone—not for what you receive outwardly in return, but for the sheer joy of offering yourself as a channel for this greatest of all gifts.

Love is a natural quality of the feeling of the heart. Love becomes deadened, however, by selfishness.

Unselfish love, once awakened, brings every cell in the body into harmony. It directs the energy of the brain powerfully toward whatever one sets one’s mind to accomplish.

Paderewski - Lesson of Life

rosepetals on floor

Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took
her boy to a Paderewski concert.

After they were seated, the mother spotted a friend in the audience and
walked down the aisle to greet her. Seizing the opportunity to explore
the wonders of the concert hall, the little boy rose and eventually
explored his way through a door marked "NO ADMITTANCE."

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the
mother returned to her seat and discovered that the child was missing.
Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive
Steinway on stage. In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at
the keyboard, innocently picking out "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved
to the piano and whispered in the boy's ear, "Don't quit. Keep playing."
Then, leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began
filling in the bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other
side of the child and he added a running obbligato.

Together, the old master and the young novice transformed a frightening
situation into a wonderfully creative, experience. And the audience was

The lesson: Whatever our situation in life and history -- however
outrageous, however desperate, whatever dry spell of the spirit, whatever
dark night of the soul -- God is whispering deep within our beings,
"Don't quit. Keep playing.

You are not alone. Together we will transform the broken patterns into a
masterwork of My creative art.

Together, we will mesmerize the world."

Slow down

"The soul requires duration of time -- rich, thick, deep, velvety time -- and it thrives on rhythm. Soul can’t be hurried or harried .... We may go through many events in the day and experience nothing because the soul has not had the opportunity to feel them from many different points of view."

-- Robert Sardello

Soul cannot exist when our connections in life remain superficial. An experience of soul requires that we take time to be fully present to the details of our lives.

Explore what happens when you take the time to STOP and PAY ATTENTION. When we choose to slow down and really experience the qualities of our lives, we get a whole new perspective on what living’s all about.

"We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery."

-- H. G. Wells

My Electricity

I send your name
up into the sky
And the wind blows it back into my face

You see, even nature
reacts on me
And all my electricity
will make it across your sea

With every wave the sea makes
My body gets weaker
and weaker.... and weaker..

You see, even nature
reacts on me
And all my electricity
will make it across your sea

And provides you

Keys To Living With Greater Awareness

Develop a habit, in response to every challenge, of saying, “I can!” “I can!” is the yes-saying principle in action. Unwillingness must be nipped in the bud. Let your first instinct be, rather, to affirm your openness to new possibilities. Habitual skepticism kills opportunity. The time exists, indeed, for reasoned consideration, but this time comes after one has affirmed his willingness to approach a new idea constructively.

Then said Almitra, "Speak to us of Love."

And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them.

And with a great voice he said:

When love beckons to you follow him,

Though his ways are hard and steep.

And when his wings enfold you yield to him,

Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.

And when he speaks to you believe in him,

Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.

Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,

So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.

He threshes you to make you naked.

He sifts you to free you from your husks.

He grinds you to whiteness.

He kneads you until you are pliant;

And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,

Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,

Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.

Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.

Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;

For love is sufficient unto love.

When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, I am in the heart of God."

And think not you can direct the course of love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.

But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:

To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.

To know the pain of too much tenderness.

To be wounded by your own understanding of love;

And to bleed willingly and joyfully.

To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;

To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;

To return home at eventide with gratitude;

And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Khalil Gibran, The Prophet

Time to blossom

"The voice of our original self is often muffled, overwhelmed, even strangled, by the voices of other people’s expectations."

-- Julie Cameron

Many of us unconsciously believe that we’re unworthy or defective. We adopted this belief very early in our lives when the people we looked up to disapproved of our demands, wishes and behaviours. We concluded that we had to learn to be good.

Unfortunately, ‘being good’ usually meant giving up our own differences or uniqueness. We learned that we might get the love we wanted if we acted and felt like others wanted us to.

If we seek true joy and connection with life, we now need to remove these artificial masks and express our deep authentic nature.

"For all those years you’ve protected the seed. It’s time to become the beautiful flower."

Gabriella's song

(From "As It Is In Heaven"/"Så Som I Himmelen"

It's now that life is mine
I have had a time here on Earth
And my longing has led me here
Things I missed and things I gained

This is still the road I've chosen
My confidence far beyond words
That has shown a little piece
Of the sky I've never reached

I want to feel that I have lived
All the time I have
I shall live what I want
I want to feel that I have lived
To know that I'm good enough

I have never forgotten who I was
I've just left it sleeping
Maybe I have had no choice
Only the will to exist

I want to live happily, for it's me who I am
To be able to be strong and free
See how night turns into day
I am here and my life is only mine
And the sky that I thought that existed
I shall find it there somewhere

I want to feel that I've lived my life

Golden Rule

One's purpose is to live in a manner that is consistent with one's spiritual ideal's, to live the Golden Rule every moment of one's life, and to live every thought as a sacret prayer. It is simple - but far from easy!

I saw them cross the twilight of an age....

...The sun-eyed children of a marvelous dawn, Great creators with wide brows of calm, The massive barrier-breakers of the world, Laborers in the quarries of the gods. The architects of immortality."

Savitri, the late master Sri Aurobindo of India

"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."
-Dr. Martin Luther King

“When the Student is Ready the Teacher will Appear.”

Faith and Belief: Faith: Staircase to God

Yours faithfully - A letter ends there. However, faith is the beginning
of the human quest for self-discovery and the Absolute. Faith can be
neither forced nor taught; it is an experience that transcends trust,
reason, belief and ideology.

Belief in religious scripture confines the mind; the trust we repose in
an individual, too, is a limiting factor. The intellect can only too
often weave a cobweb of theories, and reason can cause mistrust, taking
us away from discovering the great scope and depth of an infinite power
that's faith, that can otherwise serve as an effective spiritual guide.

Crime and Punishment - From the 'Prophet'

"It is when your spirit goes wandering upon the wind, That you, alone and
unguarded, commit a wrong unto others and therefore unto yourself. And
for that wrong committed must you knock and wait a while unheeded at the
gate of the blessed.

Like the ocean is your god-self; It remains for ever undefiled. And like
the ether it lifts but the winged. Even like the sun is your god-self; It
knows not the ways of the mole nor seeks it the holes of the serpent. But
your god-self does not dwell alone in your being. Much in you is still
man, and much in you is not yet man, But a shapeless pigmy that walks
asleep in the mist searching for its own awakening. And of the man in you
would I now speak.

For it is he and not your god-self nor the pigmy in the mist, that knows
crime and the punishment of crime.

Oftentimes have I heard you speak of one who commits a wrong as though he
were not one of you, but a stranger unto you and an intruder upon y our
world. But I say that even as the holy and the righteous cannot rise
beyond the highest which is in each one of you, So the wicked and the
weak cannot fall lower than the lowest which is in you also.

And as a single leaf turns not yellow but with the silent knowledge of
the whole tree, So the wrong-doer cannot do wrong without the hidden will
of you all.

Like a procession you walk together towards your god-self. You are the
way and the wayfarers. And when one of you falls down he falls for those
behind him, a caution against the stumbling stone. Ay, and he falls for
those ahead of him, who though faster and surer of foot, yet removed not
the stumbling stone.

And this also, though the word lie heavy upon your hearts: The murdered
is not unaccountable for his own murder, And the robbed is not blameless
in being robbed. The righteous is not innocent of the deeds of the
wicked, And the white-handed is not clean in the doings of the felon.
< br> Yea, the guilty is oftentimes the victim of the injured, And still
more often the condemned is the burden-bearer for the guiltless and
unblamed. You cannot separate the just from the unjust and the good from
the wicked; For they stand together before the face of the sun even as
the black thread and the white are woven together. And when the black
thread breaks, the weaver shall look into the whole cloth, and he shall
examine the loom also.

If any of you would bring judgment the unfaithful wife, Let him also
weight the heart of her husband in scales, and measure his soul with

And let him who would lash the offender look unto the spirit of the
offended. And if any of you would punish in the name of righteousness and
lay the ax unto the evil tree, let him see to its roots; And verily he
will find the roots of the good and the bad, the fruitful and the
fruitless, all entwined together in the silent heart of the earth.

And you judge s who would be just, What judgment pronounce you upon him
who though honest in the flesh yet is a thief in spirit? What penalty lay
you upon him who slays in the flesh yet is himself slain in the spirit?
And how prosecute you him who in action is a deceiver and an oppressor,
Yet who also is aggrieved and outraged?

And how shall you punish those whose remorse is already greater than
their misdeeds? Is not remorse the justice which is administered by that
very law which you would fain serve? Yet you cannot lay remorse upon the
innocent nor lift it from the heart of the guilty.

Unbidden shall it call in the night, that men may wake and gaze upon
themselves. And you who would understand justice, how shall you unless
you look upon all deeds in the fullness of light?

Only then shall you know that the erect and the fallen are but one man
standing in twilight between the night of his pigmy-self and the day of
his god-self, And that the corner-stone of t he temple is not higher than
the lowest stone in its foundation."

In Buddhism we establish whether a teacher is authentic by whether or not
the guidance he or she is giving accords with the teachings of the
Buddha. It cannot be stressed too often that it is truth of the teaching
which is all-important, and never the personality of the teacher. This is
why Buddha reminded us in the "Four reliances":

Rely on the message of the teacher, not on his personality;
Rely on the meaning, not just on the words;
Rely on the real meaning, not just the provisional one;
Rely on your wisdom mind, not on your ordianry, judgmental mind.

So it is important to remember that the true teacher, as we shall see, is
the spokesman of the truth: its compassionate "wisdom display." All the
buddhas, masters, and prophets, in fact are the emanation of this truth,
appearing in countless skillful, compassionate guises in order to guide
us through their teachin, back to our true nature. At first then, more
impor tant than finding the teacher is through making a connection with
the truth of the teaching, for it is through making a connection with the
truth of the teaching that you will discover your living connection with
a master.

Hymn to Isis

For I am the first and the last
I am the venerated and the despised
I am the prostitute and the saint
I am the wife and the virgin
I am the mother and the daughter
I am the arms of my mother
I am barren and my children are many
I am the married woman who gives birth
and she who never procreated
I am the consolation for the pain of birth
I am the wife and the husband
And it was my man who created me
I am the sister of my husband
And he is my rejected son
Always respect me
For I am the shameful and the magnificent one

Emotional Intelligence....

It's with the heart one sees rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Antoine De Saint-Exupèry
"The Little Prince"

"Blue Skies"

Thank you for blue skies
When my head is down you remind me to look up
And thank you for all those times
You believed when others couldn't see
Oh without you where would would I be?

I wake up every morning to another crazy day I have to face
And when I'm losing my direction your the one who points me in the right way
You always know when I'm about to fall
Its like you're standing there when I hit that wall
Because of you my eyes are open
And instead of always hoping I have faith today

So thank you for blue skies
When my head is down you remind me to look up
And thank you for all those times
You believed when others couldn't see
Oh without you where would I be?
Oh thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Oh without you where would I be?

Thank you for blue skies
When my head is down you remind me to look up
And thank you for all those times
You believed when others couldn't see
Oh without you where would would I be?

Short Spiritual Stories

Small waves and large waves
A small wave in the ocean laments "Poor me. Other waves are so great in
size, yet I am so small. Other waves can travel so fast, yet I am so
inferior." Another wave replies "This is because you do not know your
true being, so you think you are suffering. A wave is your temporary
phenomenon. In actual fact, you are water. When you realize that your
true being is water, you will no longer be troubled by your physical
form, and therefore will no longer suffer."

The place to begin to improve the world
is in your own heart, head and hands.
To get along with others,
love them without forcing your love upon them.

Imposing your beliefs on people will not bring you peace.
Have concern for others, respect their rights and freedoms,
and let them be themselves.
Do this and you will enjoy peace.

Having consideration for others is the basis of a good life.
Most people are not against you,
they are merely for themselves.
Let differing ideas clash, but not those of the heart.

Peace comes to you when you live and act in a spirit of love.

"You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the

Leonardo da Vinci

"I roamed the countryside searching for the answers to things I did not understand. Why shells existed on the top of mountains along with the imprints of coral and plant and seaweed usually found in the sea. Why the thunder lasts a longer time than that which causes it and why immediately on its creation the lightning becomes visible to the eye while thunder requires time to travel. How the various circles of water form around the spot that has been struck by a stone and why a bird sustains itself in the air. These questions and other strange phenomena engaged my thought throughout my life."

The Universe Loves You

smiling sun

You are inherently lovable and have always been loved by the
Universe. In fact, you are love itself. The problem is that most of
us live under a false illusion that we just do something, or be
somebody special to earn love and acceptance. We spend our lives
trying to get peoples' love and acceptance when love surrounds
us and permeates every atom in this Universe. It's like we are fish
in the ocean seeking, searching and thirsty for water. Once we just
relax into this simple truth that love is here now, you feel loved by
the Universe and know you are always taken care of. The great secret
is relaxing into this knowingness completely.

"I laugh when I hear that the fish in the water is thirsty." ~Kabir

Sometimes you might be thinking 'But I can't feel truly loved
by anyone, how can I feel loved by the Universe' If you
don't feel the warmth and love from this divine Universe, then
you are the one who is blocking out love. It is the armor around your
heart that is protecting you from getting hurt again. So with these
emotional shields it can be challenging to feel the loving energy
that naturally surrounds us. The greatest thing is that the Universe
will do everything to help you pull your walls down. It will create
heart opening situations that will penetrate your shields and
eventually cause them to melt completely. The key is to remain open
and receptive to allowing this to happen.

One of most amazing things about the Universe is that it is always a
flawless mirror for what is happening inside you. Meaning that
whatever energy
you send out is exactly what you will feel coming back to you. When
you send out kindness and patience to others, you'll experience
people treating you with more understanding, gentleness and patience.
Now this flawless mirror can be a blessing or a curse, depending on
what you are habitually focusing upon and
vibrationally sending out. If you are in the habit of sending out
fear, esperation, or those "poor me" victim feelings, then you are
truly wasting your time and missing the greatest opportunity of your
lifetime! This is to experience yourself as a truly divine lovable
human being who is the source of love and is constantly FEELING loved
by the Universe!

"There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved." ~George

The good news is that even when you do send out negative vibrations,
the Universe still loves and supports you. In these moments when your
mind is clogged with negativity, you may just not be able to feel
this gentle supporting love that is all around you. When you are
focusing on fear or negativity, you are in essence wearing dark
glasses that shield the rays of love and light from the Universe.
However, you can choose at any moment to take off your glasses and
see the greatest truth and essence of your being. That you are
lovable, and the source of love! Every moment holds the opportunity
for you to recognize the Divine loveable being that you are, perfect
just as you are in every way.

The following is an experience told by Margot: One day about 7 years
ago, I
walked into my neighborhood grocery store in a very bad mood. The day
had been full of misadventures and mishap. Anyway, I had only one
thing to buy and had to stand in line for a very long time. I kept
thinking 'These people are all selfish. They haven't
even offered to let me go ahead of them' As I approached the
cash register I thought 'Boy, the cashiers who work here are
not very nice. They didn't even smile at me' As I left
the store, I thought, 'I don't really like this store.
Everybody is just so shut down and unfriendly'

"Love is like a mountain, hard to climb, but once you get to the top
the view is beautiful." ~Daniel Monroe Tuttle

A few days later, I returned to the same grocery store. This day,
however, I walked into the store in a really positive uplifted mood.
I thought, 'It's so great just to be alive' My
experience in the store was radically different. While I still stood
in line for a very long time, I decided to make friends with the
people in line. I chatted back and forth with them, and thought to
myself, 'Everybody is so friendly in this store' In
fact, I even made a new friend that day standing in line, and we
promptly did something together that very same day. As I arrived at
the checkout counter, I was greeted by the same cashier. However,
this time I saw the smile on her face, and heard the warmth in her
greeting for I had taken of my dark glasses and could see the love
around me. I have had many direct experiences of both feeling and not
feeling loved by the Universe. It is very evident that my attitude
directly impacts my ability to perceive and feel love and support.

So remember that you can feel how much the entire Universe loves you
by just shifting your energy and taking off any dark glasses you may
be wearing. The more you open up to the natural love of the Universe,
the more you see how the whole Universe is truly supporting you and
sending you what you need to manifest your dreams.

Instantly download The NEW Super Manifesting Package! It will help
you take off your dark glasses and melt the shields around your heart
so that you can feel the Universe’s love and support again!

Opening the heart

Heart lock

“Everything is made of light; everything is alive. The Great Mystery of life has little to do with intelligence. The universe is not an intellectual process. The intellect is helpful; but our hearts are the wiser part of ourselves.”

-- Mellen-Thomas Benedict

Heart is a word that refers to many different levels of our being. Essentially, it is the love aspect of soul, capable of making direct, intuitive contact. Soul love is not emotional; it is highly impersonal and intelligent, capable of grasping the essence of someone or something without any projection on our part.

Appreciation significantly turns on the heart. Appreciation is not an emotion that arises spontaneously, but a soul quality we can choose. The more often we choose to be appreciative, the easier this choice becomes and the more frequently our heart opens to give and receive love.

“If you open your heart, love opens your mind.”

-- Charles John Quarto

A Gift for Life

Heart of Gold
You never know when it's time to go
But you can leave flowers when you go
Roses from your body
Your so precious gift
Your last wish so simply
Left for those to live

The blind will see and the heart will beat
But do you know you can build a bridge
Someone there is waiting
For a light to come
Someone could be helping
Will you be the one?

You have the power
To donate life
You have the power
Please save a life
You have the power
You can decide You have the power
So hope can rise
You have the power
So hope can rise

When darkness falls and it’s so unfair
You stand alone lost in a nightmare
Your choice can bring beauty
Your choice can bring light
Makes your gift so precious
Shines like million stars

You have the power
To donate life
You have the power
Please save a life
You have the power
You can decide You have the power
So hope can rise
You have the power
So hope can rise

Roses of Life

I've dreamed many dreams that never came true,
I've seen them vanish at dawn.
But I've realized enough of my dreams, thank God,
To make me want to dream on.

I've prayed many prayers, when no answers came,
Though I waited so patient and long,
But answers came to enough of my prayers
To make me keep praying on.

I've trusted many a friend who failed
And left me to week alone,
But I've found enough of my friends to be true
To make me keep trusting on.

I've sown many seeds that fell by the way
For the birds to feed upon,
But I've held enough golden sheaves in my hands
To make me keep sowing on.

I've drained the cup of disappointment and pain
And gone many days without song,
But I've sipped enough nectar from the roses of life
To make me want to live on.

In Dreams

"A candy-colored clown they call the sandman
Tiptoes to my room every night
Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper
Go to sleep. everything is all right.

I close my eyes, then I drift away
Into the magic night. I softly say
A silent prayerlike dreamers do.
Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you.

In dreams I walk with you. in dreams I talk to you.
In dreams youre mine. all of the time were together
In dreams, in dreams.

But just before the dawn, I awake and find you gone.
I cant help it, I cant help it, if I cry.
I remember that you said goodbye.

Its too bad that all these things, can only happen in my dreams
Only in dreams in beautiful dreams."

I have learned

1. I have learned -
That sometimes the people
you expect to kick you
when you are down
will be the ones to
help you get back up.

2. I have learned -
That just because someone
does not love you the way
you want them to
does not mean
they don't love you
with all they have.

3. I have learned -
That maturity has more to
do with the experiences you have
had and what you have learned
from them and less to do with
how many birthdays you have

4. I have learned -
That no matter how good a friend is,
He or she is going to hurt you every
once in a while and you must
forgive him or her for that.

5. I have learned -
That it isn't always enough
to be forgiven by others.
You have to learn to forgive

6. I have learned -
That no matter how badly
your heart is broken the
world doesn't stop for your grief.

7. I have learned -
That background and circumstances
May have influenced who we are,
but we are responsible for who
we become.

Open to the moment

“Why not concentrate on the now instead of hoping for better times in the future? Why not understand the now instead of forgetting it and hoping for the future? Isn’t the future just another trap?”

-- Anthony de Mello

Soul exists only in this moment. Every moment, no matter what the conditions, offers opportunities to touch and experience life in a new way. Our egos, with their fears and desires, easily get trapped in the past and the future, but the power to change exists only in this moment.

We don’t need to know more or have more before we can live more deeply. We simply need to pay attention to what’s happening now. To open without judgment to the worlds around and within us.

“Nothing is worth more than this day. You cannot relive yesterday. Tomorrow is still beyond your reach.”

A Heart Of Gold

One day, a young man stopped in a big city and started telling people that he had the most beautiful heart around there. After a short while, people gathered around him, admiring that perfect heart.

Suddenly, an old man approached the crowd.
He said calmly:
"Still, the perfectness of his heart doesn't compare to the beauty of mine".

The people turned to look, even the young man did; it was a strong heart, beating hard.
But it was all marked my scars, places where pieces of it were replaced by others, which didn't match perfectly, and places where there were missing pieces, which had left bleeding wounds.

"How can he say his heart is more beautiful",
wondered the people. The young man told the old man, laughing:
"U must be kidding. My heart is perfect, but yours is a big wound, only tears and pain!"

The old man replied:
"Yes, yours looks perfect, but i'd never change it with mine.
U see…every scaro n my heart represents a person to whom i gave my love.
I take a piece of my heart and give it to the one beside me, who usually gives me back a piece of his/hers. But they're not measured so sometimes they don't quite match,
but I love all those imperfections, because they remind me of the love i shared.
Sometimes I gave pieces of my heart to people who gave me nothing in return;
those are the bleeding wounds, the holes - sometimes, love is risky.
And even if those wounds bleed and hurt, they remind me of the love I have even for those people;
who knows? Maybe one day they'll come back to me to fill the emptiness with pieces of their hearts.
U see now what's the real beauty of the heart?"

The young man remained quiet, with tears in his eyes.
He approached the old man, took a piece of his heart and gave it to the old man, with shivering hands.
The old man took it, put it into his heart. Then took a piece of his and gave it to the young man.
It wasn't a perfect match, but it was ok. The young man looked at his heart, which was no longer perfect, but was more beautiful than ever, because now it was alive, it had the pulse and love of the old man's heart. They hugged and left…

How sad it is to walk on your life with a perfect heart! Perfect but with no beauty!

Life opens the door, but it is up to us to walk
through it!

"I Turn To You"

When the world is darker than I can understand.
When nothing turns out the way I planned.
When the sky turns grey and there's no end in sight.
When I can't sleep through the lonely night.

I turn to you. Like a flower leaning toward the sun.
I turn to you. 'Cos you're the only one.
Who can turn me around when I'm upside down.
I turn to you.

When my insides are wracked with anxiety.
You have the touch that will quiet me.
You lift my spirit. You melt the ice.
When I need inspiration, when I need advice.

I turn to you. Like a flower leaning toward the sun.
I turn to you. 'Cos you're the only one.
Who can turn me around when I'm upside down.
I turn to you.

Where would I be? What would I do?
If you'd never helped me through.
I hope someday if you've lost your way.
You could turn to me like I turn to you.

I turn to you. Like a flower leaning toward the sun.
I turn to you. 'Cos you're the only one.
Who can turn me around when I'm upside down.
I turn to you.

I turn to you. When fear tells me to turn around.
I turn to you. 'Cos you're the only one.
Who can turn me around when I'm upside down.
I turn to you. I turn to you. I turn to you.

Knight in Shining Armour

Think about how many of us are searching for love, waiting for our ”knight in shining armour.” Yet he’ll never come along unless we’re resonating at the level of a princess!
I’m not referring to the tiara she wears or the throne she sits on, but rather, her deep sense of knowing – she knows she deserves to be loved and that she’ll honour and treat her man like the prince he is, too.

Perhaps, truth be told, true everlasting love – the “soul-mate kind” – only happens once you’ve climbed to the top of your own ladder and have transcended your ego, when your soul is one with Divine grace and ready to finally come home. In other words, once you become the woman you're meant to be, then you'll know when you're with the person you were meant to be with!

"No Promises"

Hey baby, when we are together, doing things that we love.
Every time you're near I feel like I’m in heaven, feeling high
I don’t want to let go, girl.
I just need you to know girl.

I don’t wanna run away, baby you’re the one I need tonight,
No promises.
Baby, now I need to hold you tight, I just wanna die in your arms

Here tonight

Hey baby, when we are together, doing things that we love.
Everytime you're near I feel like I’m in heaven, feeling high
I don’t want to let go, girl.
I just need you you to know girl.

I don’t wanna run away, baby you’re the one I need tonight,
No promises.
Baby, now I need to hold you tight, I just wanna die in your arms

I don’t want to run away, I want to stay forever, thru Time and Time..
No promises

I don’t wanna run away, I don’t wanna be alone
No Promises
Baby, now I need to hold you tight, now and forever my love

No promises

I don’t wanna run away, baby you’re the one I need tonight,
No promises.
Baby, now I need to hold you tight, I just wanna die in your arms

I don’t wanna run away, baby you’re the one I need tonight,
No promises.
Baby, now I need to hold you tight, I just wanna die in your arms
Here tonight.

Why Me?

"We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count."

-Neil Maxwell

Yesterday morning, my family and I got up at 5:30am in Mexico to begin our journey home from the Holistic Coaching Made Fun retreat. Eight hours of packing, driving, flying, and standing in line later, we arrived at the airport in Los Angeles physically intact but emotionally a bit worse for wear.

It was at this point, standing in yet another line with a screaming toddler in my arms, that my six year old daughter Clara decided she absolutely had to have a look at her passport picture. This was a seemingly innocuous request, but in fact would have involved my unhooking several bags from my shoulders and letting loose the toddler who, screaming aside, had already demonstrated her intention to leave no 'Do Not Enter' sign undisturbed in her exploration of the world of airport immigration.

Now, it would have been the easiest thing in the world to have thought 'why me?' when Clara was nipping at my ankles and the people around me in line were silently nominating me for a 'person I'd most like to not sit next to on an airplane' award. (Actually, many of the people around me may have been asking themselves just that.)

But after responding to Clara's continual requests like a six year old adult, (I believe the words "I'm not going to do it and you can't make me!" may have passed my lips :-), I took a deep breath, recognized that my reaction was more a function of my emotional state than her behavior, and I apologized for being mean to her.

"Mean?" she asked, incredulously. "You weren't mean to me. You're my daddy. Daddies can't be mean."

It was at this point that the question 'why me?' popped into my head. Why me? Why do I get to be loved so unconditionally by someone who is all too frequently in the line of fire when I lose my cool? How is it possible that her love and trust are still firmly intact after six years of sporadically positive parenting?

As I thought about some possible answers to those questions, the following story came to mind:

One day, a human went to heaven, in the way that humans often do. On arrival, the human was greeted by a host of angels and given a tour of all of heaven's wonders. Over the course of the tour, the human noticed that there was one room the angels quickly glided past each time they approached.

"What's in that room?" the human asked.

The angels looked at each other as if they'd been dreading the question. Finally, one of them stepped forward and said kindly, "We're not allowed to keep you out, but please believe us - you don't want to go in there."

The human's mind raced at the thought of what might be contained in that room. What could be so horrible that the angels of heaven would want to hide it away? The human knew that one should probably take angels at their word, but found it very hard to resist temptation. "After all", the human thought. "I'm only human."

Slowly walking towards the room, the human was filled with dread and wonder at what horrors might be about to be revealed. But in fact, the room was filled with the most wonderful things imaginable - a beautiful home, nice cars, great wisdom, a happy family, loving friends, and riches beyond measure.

Eyes wide, the human turned back to the angels. "But why didn't you want me to come in here? This room is filled with the most amazing things I've ever seen!"

The angels looked at each other sadly, then back at the human.

"These are all the blessings God wanted you to have while you were on earth, but you never believed you were worthy."

There is a notion in Jewish mysticism that the nature of the universe is not one of reward and punishment but rather one of receiving or rejecting God's blessings. When we connect with our sense of value in the world and connection to others and to life, we become like God - we share naturally and receive continually. When we cut off from our awareness of being of value and a part of all things, we become distinctly human. We retreat into ourselves and experience a world of pain, loss and suffering.

Maybe when good things happen to me, it's not so much a reward for good behavior as it is a case of an abundant universe sharing freely with one of its citizens. Maybe the reason I have a daughter who loves me unconditionally is to make it easier for me to be a really great father to her. And if you find yourself to be happy, or beautiful, or successful, or talented, or wealthy, maybe it's so you will be able to share your happiness, beauty, talent, and wealth with the world.

Today's Experiment:

1. Imagine if there was a storeroom of blessings waiting for you to accept delivery. What would be in that room?

2. Take a few moments now to accept your inherent worth. Remember the story of the crumpled $100 bill - no matter how much it's been through or how beat up it looks, its value remains undiminished.

3. Finally, connect to both your humanity and your holiness - share something you have with someone who doesn't and open yourself more fully to receive.

Have fun, learn heaps, and the next time you experience your life as filled with love, abundance, joy, and wonder, don't forget to ask 'why me?'

'An Understanding Heart... everything in a teacher, and cannot be esteemed highly enough. One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feeling. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.'

I have Learned...

I've learned - that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is
be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I've learned - that no matter how much I care, some people just don't
care back.

I've learned - that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to
destroy it.

I've learned - that it's not what you have in your life but who you have
in your life that counts.

I've learned - that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you'd better know something.

I've learned - that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can
do, but to the best you can do.

I've learned - that it's not what happens to people that's important.
It's what they do about it.

I've learned - that you can do something in an instant that will give you
heartache for life.

I've learned - that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two

I've l earned - that it's taking me a long time to become the person I
want to be.

I've learned - that it's a lot easier to react than it is to think.

I've learned - that you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.

I've learned - that you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I've learned - that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we

I've learned - that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I've learned - that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at
first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take
its place.

I've learned - that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when
it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I've learned - that learning to forgive takes practice.

I've learned - that there are people who love you dearly, but just don't
know how to show it.

I've learned - that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I've learned - that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and
have the best time.

I've learned - that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when
you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I've learned - that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be
angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I've learned - that true friendship continues to grow, even over the
longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I've learned - that just because someone doesn't love you the way you
want them to, it doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I've learned - that maturity has more to do with what types of
experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do
with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I've learned - that you should never tell a child their dreams are
unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a
tragedy it would if they believed it.

I've learned - that your family won't always be there for you. It may
seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and
love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren't biological.

I've learned - that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I've learned - that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've learned - that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world
doesn't stop for your grief.

I've learned - that our background and circumstances may have influenced
who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I've learned - that sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose
sides even when I don't want to.

I've learned - that just b ecause two people argue, it doesn't mean they
don't love each other And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean
they do.

I've learned - that sometimes you have to put the individual ahead of
their actions. I've learned - that we don't have to change friends if we
understand that friends change.

I've learned - that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It
could change your life forever.

I've learned - that two people can look at the exact same thing and see
something totally different.

I've learned - that no matter how you try to protect your children, they
will eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process.

I've learned - that there are many ways of falling and staying in love.

I've learned - that no matter the consequences, those who are honest with
themselves get farther in life.

I've learned - that no matter how many friends you have, if you are their
pillar you will feel lonely and lost at the times you need them most.

I've learned - that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by
people who don't even know you.

I've learned - that even when you think you have no more to give, when a
friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I've learned - that writing, as well as talking, can ease emotional

I've learned - that the paradigm we live in is not all that is offered to

I've learned - that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent
human being.

I've learned - that the people you care most about in life are taken from
you too soon.

I've learned - that although the word "love" can have many different
meanings, it loses value when overly used.

I've learned - that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between
being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you

I've Cried Enough

All of my tears have been frozen
After these years in this pain
My heart has finally chosen
To beat a bit faster again
Now I feel the awakening
I don't look back anymore
I am mysteriously standing on the good side of my soul

All I recall is the moment
Sadness is fading away
It is for passion I'm falling but now I'm back on my feet again
I wanna rewrite the story
Not even what seemed insane

How could I ever feel sorry for being stronger than I am?
I've cried enough
Over the priceless time I've lost
I've learned the going gets too tough
Now you regret love
I've cried enough
What you'll see on my face again
Is nothing but the rain
I've cried enough

Why would I try to deny it?
Most of my dreams are a mess
But what didn't kill me in fact has taught me
Life's a big game of chess
Although I believe in the future
I keep in mind all the past
Now that I live in the present
I don't care about the rest

I've cried enough
Over the priceless time I've lost
I've learn the going gets too tough
Now you regret love
I've cried enough
What you'll see on my face again
Is nothing but the rain
I've cried enough

I've cried enough
What you'll see on my face again
Is nothing but the rain
I've cried enough

"I am walking around every day allowing my luminous
light to shine through; I am living an enchanted life"

"How did I get so lucky to be blessed with another
day to live my life's purpose?"

as vezes a vida fica so num sonho a minha ideia e transformar este sonho em uma grande vida e poder um dia dizer realizei... there comes a time when everyone has to lift the horse's tail and face the reality.

Things turn out best for those people
who can make the best out of the way things turn out.
It's not the situation, it's your reaction to the situation.

The reality in your life may result from many outside factors,
none of which you can control.
Your attitude, however,
reflects the ways in which you deal with what is happening to you.

Life at any time can become difficult.
Life at any time can become easy.
It all depends upon how you adjust yourself to life.

You cannot always control your circumstances.
But, you can control your own thoughts.
There is nothing neither good nor bad,
only your thinking makes it so.

Stop The Rain?

This river is a mighty one
I have to trust its flow
But if you asked me where it's taking us
I wouldn't say I know
But I will go there willingly --
She's never led me astray
And I've only been bruised
When I've refused to get out of my way
So, I wouldn't stop the rain...

I do believe that God above, created you for me to love,
He picked you out from all the rest, because he knew I would love you best.

"Listen To The Quiet Voice Inside"

"To know how to choose a path with heart is to learn how to follow intuitive feeling."

-- Jean Shinoda Bolen

What ideas are teasing you these days?

Are you aware of any little gems floating around your consciousness these days? Charged little thoughts that beckon you to pay attention to them? Inspiration and intuition often bring powerful new ideas to us very subtly, very quietly. When you become aware of being teased by an idea, follow it!

"Get your ideas on paper and study them. Do not let them go to waste!"

-- Les Brown

'We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.'

Dear God, Spirit, Divine Mother,

On this day I ask you to grant this request -

May I know who I am and what I am, every moment of every day.

May I be a catalyst for light and love
and bring inspiration to those whose eyes I meet.

May I have the strength to stand tall in the face of conflict
and the courage to speak my voice, even when I'm scared.

May I have the humility to follow my heart. And the passion to live my
Soul's desires.

May I seek to know the highest truth and dismiss the gravitational pull
of my lower self.

May I embrace and love the totality of myself - my darkness as well as
my light.

And may I be brave enough to hear my heart -
to let it soften so that I may gracefully choose faith over fear.

Today is my day to surrender anything that stands between
the sacredness of my humanity and my divinity.

May I be drenched in my holiness.
And engulfed by God.

May all else melt away.

And so it is.

"When humans find themselves surrounded by nothing but objects, the response is always one of loneliness."

-- Brian Swimme

Soul lives through relationship and it is in soul that we find meaning. We can have meaningful relationships with people, animals and other beings, projects, ideas and ideals.

How much time do you devote to building relationships with things?

"Loneliness is caused by an alienation from life. It is a loneliness from your real self."

-- Maxwell Maltz

"No soul is desolate as long as there is a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence."

-- George Eliot

Radiating Love and Light

When you radiate Love and Light, don't just sit there hoping it is going out from you, but concentrate on it with your whole heart, mind, soul and strength and really feel the power flowing from you. Feel your heart expand and expand as it pours forth love like a fast-flowing river. Let go and let it flow in full force.

When you learn to do this you will begin to see results, not just in your own life but in the lives of the many.

With love and many blessings,

Your soul....

We all had dreams, but somewhere along the way, life interfered – so we convinced ourselves that our dreams were just wishful thinking. We lost our ability to listen to our own needs, trust our intuition, and develop our sense of self, as we listened to everyone else’s opinion as to how we should live our lives.

The secret to success is to embrace potential, not fear it. It’s natural to be afraid, but it’s not okay to let fear hold you back. You will discover what you’re most afraid of in life: It may be the fear of being alone, of failing, of being criticized, of being let down, or of looking like a dreamer or a flake. Maybe you fear success and what changes it might bring, since you may need to step out of your comfort zone to make your life better. You could fear not being good enough, and you’ll try to do anything to hide that fear from the world. But in order to make necessary and lasting changes, you must understand how fear has affected you, along with the choices you’ve made that have brought you where you are today.

Embracing your potential also means that you have to follow the path that’s right for your life. That doesn’t always mean following the right path in everyone else’s eyes – and sometimes it means making choices that you’ve never had to make before. You’ll be just fine if you face the fears that are holding you back and learn not to ever let those fears stop you.

You’ve probably heard the analogy that self-discovery is like peeling back layers of an onion. Deep inside the onion is a little shiny core that equates to your spirit intuition, while the outside of the onion is like your wall of protection, your safe exterior. Some of us have layers so deep that we’ve lost touch with our soul, so getting to that core takes time, effort, honesty, and courage.

If you don’t demand the most of yourself,
You can never demand it out of life,
and life only gives us what we demand of it.

It's all meant to be....

Winter forest
As I sit in the stillness of my office and gaze out my
windows, I am acutely aware of my surroundings.
The sounds of a beautiful New Age CD fills my space
with tranquility and the warmth of my lit candles and
the smell of lavender oil, simmering in the air, remind
me of some exotic spa that I hope to visit very soon.
The aroma of my hot peppermint tea, mingled with
the scent of
arouses my senses and evokes a feeling of health
and wellness within me. Tiny snowflakes being tossed
around, ever so playfully, outside the comfort and
warmth of my
home awaken my awe at the serenity I'm surrounded
by. I am so grateful.

I breathe it in and give thanks for my blessings. My
mind calming, my heart rate slowing, I
close my eyes for a brief moment of nothingness.

All is as it’s meant to be -- All will work out
perfectly, I
realize, as this calmness slides down over my
neck and into my shoulders and chest.

I need to remind myself, more often, that I must slow
down long enough to celebrate these simple joys. I
would by lying if I tried to pretend that I, like most
women, don’t get so caught up in the hustle and
bustle of life that candles, lavender oil, and beautiful
music seems wonderfully romantic to wish for but is
just not a reality and certainly not a necessity. And
yet, the more that I am back coaching so many
women again, I know it is not impractical, or frivolous
at all, for us to do these simple yet immensely
significant acts of self-love. It is absolutely
necessary and should not even be an option in our
busy and stressful lives. These simple acts make all
the difference between surviving and thriving.
Between numbing and knowing!

We, women, are more stressed-out and discontent
than ever before! We are searching for something --
some answer -- some solution -- some meaning
to our
lives. Nevertheless, I truly believe that it is the
searching that may, in fact, be the devious
distracter from us ever attaining. We can get so
busy being busy that we don’t even realize what
we’ve lost in all the chaos -- ourselves.

So, why not carve out a moment today to step away
from all the things you think you should do, and just
become acutely aware of the moment— to just be
totally present, without worry or
thought and just “breathe it in"
and give thanks for what you do have.

Most often just by becoming present in all that you
do, whether that is while washing the dishes or
having a bath, even when driving in traffic, you’ll
discover the perfection in each moment. You, too,
will realize that all is as it’s meant to be and that
everything will work out perfectly.

When you turn off the television, put down the fork,
put the cork back in the wine bottle, and forget
about who’s done what, who you are mad at, and
where you MUST get to, you’ll begin seeing the
beauty that surrounds you. You’ll begin seeing the
beauty within you. Your life will begin to unfold like a
masterpiece and
you’ll see all the living that needs to be done! All the
living that is passing
you by whether you want it to or not.

We all have the "shoulds" that we need to get done,
today I ask you to think about the "coulds" that
would actually make you so much happier, healthier,
and joyous.

I started just by lighting some candles,
simmering some lavender oil, and listening to some
beautiful music. What are you going to do?

In love & light,

Women aren't the same as men....

Women aren't the same as men; everything about us - from our bodies, hormones, and metabolisms, to our wants and needs - is different. We women are intuitive and sensitive, and most often we respond differently to problems and emotional demands. We're also more likely to be caretakers - we're nurturers and are usually responsible for the needs of others. Generally, we do more of the shopping, cleaning, parenting, nursing, chauffeuring, organizing, cooking, dieting, and (I hate to admit it) complaining than men.

In addition, we're the emotional center of the home. When we're happy, our homes are happy; when we aren't, you can be certain our relationships aren't either. We set the tone. Like my philosophical male dentist says, "Men are primitive." Not us women! We're emotionally complicated and hormonal - we're up, we're down; we have good days and bad. We don't need to hear the staggering depression statistics to tell us that we're searching for something more. We know it. We feel it.

By an large, men are pretty simple creatures; what you see is what you get. Men simply do not place the same burden on themselves, or maybe they just believe that looking perfect isn't that important. Wrinkles, gray hair, and cellulite are something we gals fight, while most guys view themselves as in better shape than they actually are. When we see an older man who's gained 30 pounds, we often say, "Boy, he must be living the good life now," but when woman does, the common sentiment is, "She's really let herself go!"

We women are so hard on ourselves and each other, and unless we've done some serious soul-searching, we're extremely competitive and far too critical. We see ourselves through extremely scrutinizing eyes, and think the world does, too.

Twin Souls....

"And when one of them meets with his other half, the actual half of himself, the pair are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy and one will not be out of the other's sight even for a moment."

2500 years ago...

"Out of the original unity of being there is a fragmentation and dispersal of beings, the last stage being the splitting of one (twin) soul into two. And consequently, love is the search by each half for the other half on earth and in heaven...

As twin souls are so alike to begin with, it seems necessary for them to go their separate ways before they can complete each other. Identity and complementarity are the two driving forces and axes of love...For the complete being there must be a blending of the two."

The Sufis

"...there lived in this land of Atlantis one Amillius, who had first noted the separations of the beings as inhabited that portion of the earth's sphere or plane of these peoples, into male and female as separate entities or individuals."

Edgar Cayce

"Wherefore, each single thing becomes two opposites; the inside of a thing parted from its outside, the up of a thing separated from its down, the going of a thing separated from its coming, the lost of a thing separated from its found.

As a result of this impairment, great longing pulls between to wind the spring that moves the world.

The first division would be man himself, each part forever seeking its twin. Hard work for those who think love is a game to win. They will, of course, continue to defeat themselves until remembering."

Eileen Caddy

co-founder of the Findhorn Foundation

More on this subject:

Soul mate, Twin soul?

"When we meet someone and an instant friendship or attraction occurs, does that mean that this is a soul mate and that we have been together in past lives?"

Where is our twin-soul, and how can we reunite?

"Twin souls recognize each other with absolute certainty and can never truly leave one another.

Twin-souls complete each other; no other person in the world can so complete them. "

What's import to you?

Everyone has the choice of what they give their life to. Maybe this choice has never been known before, or maybe this choice has never been made conscious. Now it is. What's important to you? What are you going to give your soul to? I don't care what choice you make, and God doesn't care what choice you make. But you care, and you are the only one who counts. That which is awake in you hears the sounds and notices the sights that appear when you open your eyes. Don't lose yourself to sights, sounds, and feelings. Open yourself to them fully but don't move. Stay in the silence and awakeness. This moment-to-moment choice is the fire of Truth. It does not leave dramatics in its wake. It leaves something unspeakable in its wake that is more satisfying than joy or peace or excitement. At any moment, if you sell out this that is awake, be aware and awake to what your're selling out. Make sure the bargain is what you want it to be. Or you may, by some grace, by some good luck, realize that nothing in you wants to sell out this that is awake anymore, not even for security or for the good opinion of others, It is a real grace to realize this. ~Excerpt from "Emptiness Dancing" by Adyashanti

Full of Love

Disillusionment is not the enemy. It prepares us to receive what's real. The strange thing is that what is real is far more beautiful than our dreams, yet we cling to our dreams for dear life. Life is bigger than we are. It seems to love us a lot. Enjoy the gifts it is sharing with you - shamelessly. No man is an island, we are all part of a vast continent. There is variety, but that does not make us separate. Variety makes life richer -- part of us is in the Himalayas, a part of us is in the stars, a part of us is in the roses. A part of us is in the bird on the wing, a part of us is in the green of the trees. We are spread all over. To experience it as reality will transform your whole approach towards life, will transform your every act, will transform your very being. You will become full of love; you will become full of reverence for life. You will become for the first time, according to me, truly religious -- not a Christian, not a Hindu, not a Mohammedan, but truly, purely religious. ~Osho

Vr Utlodig Menneske

Langsomt blir allting til. Skapelsen varer evig.

Sett dine egne spor!

Det gjelder vårt evige, korte liv.

Det gjelder vår jord.

Attraction.....Sympathetic resonance

Some people believe the mind is like a magnet, and what we hold uppermost in our attention we attract to us. In music, this is called the principle of 'sympathetic resonance'. If you have two pianos in the same room and you hit a C note on one piano, you will find that the C string on the other piano starts vibrating at the same rate. In the same way you are always attracting people and circumstances that resonate with your predominant thoughts. Wouldn't it be good to attune your mind to notice how many opportunities there are to become 'wealthier' in any way or form?

You need to begin thinking of yourself as someone who deserves a great life. You must begin by feeling 'rich' with love within for it to manifest outwardly. As you begin to truly see yourself as a wonderful person, you will see the wonders around you grow.

It's a change in your self-image to one of greater confidence and greater harmony so you begin to notice the abundance that surrounds you, and it will greatly enhance your experience of being alive.

Paul McKenna

Extraordinary as it may seem, I have witnessed so many occurences that I have become sceptical about the idea of 'coincidences', and I am willing to consider that althoug I don't know exactly how it works, our minds may actually have the ability to attract events, things or people into our lives.

What you focus on consistently, you get more of in your life.

Paul McKenna

So what would you like to attract into your life at this moment in time?

As you look towards the future, it is your quest to become the creator and the magician you were born to be. One of the keys to 'magical freedom' is to take chances and rare opportunities by the hand, which will lead you into new adventures beyond your current realm of understanding. In short, you must move beyond the limitations and fears which currently hold you in a locked pattern, not allowing you to experience the magic of your true self. It is time time to break out and brainstorm; to research new concepts and to begin new and groundbreaking creative ventures, which, although you may not always know what is ahead, your willingness and determination to take each step will lead you into the greatness of manifesting your full potential.

Be brave, be inspired and be unlimited!

The three forms of love: Eros, Philos, Agape

The three forms of love: Eros, Philos, Agape

In 1986, when I was on the road to Santiago with my guide Petrus, we passed through the city of Logroño while a wedding was taking place. We ordered two glasses of wine, I prepared something to nibble on, and Petrus discovered a table where we could sit down together with the other guests. The wedding couple cut an immense cake. “They must love one another,” I thought aloud. “Of course they love one another,” said a man in a dark suit sitting at our table. Have you ever seen anyone get married for any another reason?” But Petrus did not let the question go unanswered: “What type of love do you mean: Eros, Philos or Agape?” The man looked at him without understanding a word. “There are three words in Greek to designate love,” Petrus said. “Today you are seeing the manifestation of Eros, that sentiment between two persons.” The bride and groom smiled for the cameras and received compliments from the guests. “The two seem to love one another. In a short time they will be fighting alone for life, establishing themselves in a house and taking part in the same adventure: that’s what makes love grand and dignified. He will pursue his career, she probably knows how to cook and will make an excellent housewife because since she was a little girl she was brought up to do that. She will accompany him, they will have children and they will manage to build something together, they will be happy for ever.” “Al of a sudden, however, this story could happen the other way around. He is going to feel that he is not free enough to show all the Eros, all the love that he has for other women. She may begin to feel that she has sacrificed a career and a brilliant life to accompany her husband. So, instead of creating together, each of them will feel robbed in their way of loving. Eros, the spirit that joins them, will start to display only his bad side. And what God had meant to be man’s most noble sentiment will begin to be a source of hatred and destruction.” I looked around me. Eros was present in many couples. But I could sense the presence of Eros the Good and Eros the Evil, just like Petrus had described. “Notice how odd it is,” continued my guide. “Despite being good or bad, the face of Eros is never the same in all persons.” The band struck up a waltz. People moved to a small paved area in front of the band-stand to dance. The alcohol began to show its effect and they all became merrier and drenched in sweat. I noticed a girl dressed in blue who must have been waiting for this wedding just for the moment of the waltz to arrive because she wanted to dance with someone she had dreamed of embracing ever since she entered adolescence. Her eyes followed the movements of a young man, well dressed in a light-colored suit, who was sitting with a bunch of friends. They were talking away merrily, they had not noticed that the waltz had started, nor had they noticed that a few yards away a girl in blue was staring at one of them. I thought of small towns, of marriages with the chosen boy, dreamed of ever since childhood. The girl in blue noticed me looking at her and moved away. And as if the whole movement had been rehearsed, now it was the boy’s turn to seek her out with his eyes. Discovering that she was close to other girls, he went back to his lively conversation with his friends. I drew Petrus’s attention to the two of them. He watched them exchanging glances for a while and then returned to his glass of wine. “They act as if it were something shameful to demonstrate that they love one another,” was his only remark. Another girl was staring at us, she must have been half our age. Petrus raised his glass, made a toast, the girl laughed in embarrassment and made a gesture pointing towards her parents almost in apology at not coming closer. “That’s the beautiful side of love,” he said. “Love that challenges, love for two older strangers who have come from afar and tomorrow will already have parted down a road that she too would like to travel. The love that prefers adventure.” Then he continued, pointing to an elderly couple: “Look at those two: they haven’t let themselves be affected by hypocrisy, like so many others. They look like they are a couple of farm workers: hunger and need have obliged them to overcome many a difficulty together. They have discovered love through work, which is where Eros shows his most beautiful face, also known as Philos.” “What’s Philos?” “Philos is love in the form of friendship. It’s what I feel for you and others. When the flame of Eros no longer able to shine, it’s Philos who keeps couples together.” “And what about Agape?” “Agape is total love, the love that devours those that experience it. Whoever knows and experiences Agape sees that nothing else in this world is of any importance, only loving. This was the love that Jesus felt for humanity, and it was so great that it shook the stars and changed the course of man’s history.” “During the millennia of the history of civilization, many people have been smitten by this Love that Devours. They had so much to give – and the world demanded so little – that they were obliged to seek out the deserts and isolated places because love was so great that it transfigured them. They became the hermit saints that we know today.” “For me and you who have experienced another form of Agape, this life here may seem hard and terrible. Yet the Love that Devours makes everything lose its importance: these men live only to be consumed by their love.” He took a pause. “Agape is the Love that Devours,” he repeated once more, as if this was the phrase that best defined that strange type of love. “Luther King once said that when Christ spoke of loving our enemies he was referring to Agape. Because according to him, it was impossible to like our enemies, those who do us harm and try to make our daily suffering all the worse.” “But Agape is a lot more than liking. It is a sentiment that invades everything, fills all the cracks and makes any attempt at aggression turn to dust.” “There are two forms of Agape. One is isolation, life dedicated only to contemplation. The other is precisely the opposite: contact with other human beings, and enthusiasm, the sacred sense of work. Enthusiasm means trance, ecstasy, connecting with God. Enthusiasm is Agape directed at some idea, something.” “When we love and believe in something from the bottom of our soul, we feel stronger than the world and we are imbued with a serenity that comes from the certainty that nothing can conquer our faith. This strange force makes us always make the right decisions at the right time, and we are surprised at our own capacity when we fulfill our objective.” “Enthusiasm usually manifests itself in all its power in the early years of our life. We still have a strong tie with the divinity and we give ourselves with such zeal to our toys that dolls take on a life of their own and little tin soldiers manage to march. When Jesus said that the kingdom of Heaven belonged to the children, he was referring to Agape in the form of Enthusiasm. The children reached him without paying any attention to his miracles, his wisdom, the Pharisees and the apostles. They came happily, driven by Enthusiasm.” “May you never lose your enthusiasm at any moment for the rest of your life: it’s your greatest strength, intent on the final victory. You cannot let it slip through your fingers just because as time passes we have to face some small and necessary defeats.”
